Interfaith Devotional

On August 19, 2017, Bahá’ís of Statesboro and their friends gathered at Frank Qualls and Nancy Jacobs’ home for an Interfaith Devotional & Dinner Celebration. Twenty-two people of diverse nationalities (Ghana, Nepal, India, Brazil, Peru, Trinidad, and USA) shared delicious food and reflective readings on unity and peace from the holy scriptures of several world religions. Bahá’u’lláh, founder of the Bahá’í Faith, encourages us to “consort with the followers of all religions in a spirit of friendliness and fellowship” and to understand that “Truth is one in all religions.” Special thanks are extended to Mike Czech and Joe Goldstein for leading us in inspirational songs.
