From October 17 to 22, 2011, hundreds of visitors viewed the Statesboro Bahá’í Exhibit at the Kiwanis-Ogeechee Fair, which attracts people from nine counties. Please click below for photos and more information about the event.
Adults and children were greeted and encouraged to take free Bahá’í literature, unity buttons, peace balloons, and candy. Twenty-seven people signed our guest book. Curious visitors were attracted to the Bahá’í posters and message of unity: the unity of humanity, the unity of all religions, and the unity of God. Special thanks goes to José Jiménez, Nancy Hutcheon, Joe Goldstein, and Dan Rea for their assistance with the Bahá’í exhibit. “Whoso openeth his lips in this Day and maketh mention of the name of his Lord, the hosts of Divine inspiration shall descend upon him from the heaven of My name, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.” —Baha’u’llah
