On January 8, 2011, the Bahá’ís of Statesboro and friends gathered at Dan Rea’s home for an Interfaith Devotional Meeting. Please click below for a description and photos of the event.
We shared prayers and reflective readings on unity, peace, and healing from the holy scriptures of various world religions including the Bahá’í Faith, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Confucianism, and Buddhism. According to Bahá’u’lláh, the prophet founder of the Bahá’í Faith, “Truth is one in all religions.” Special thanks are extended to Dan Rea for hosting the meeting and to Qianting Yao for taking the photos. Also special thanks to Qianting Yao for playing inspirational keyboard music interspersed between the readings.

After devotions, Bahá’ís and friends gather around refreshments and enjoyed fellowship (Left to Right): Arlene Newby, grandson Alshanti, Dan Rea, Snow Xue Yang, Joe Goldstein, Glory Goldstein, Nancy Hutcheon.
