On November 18, 2010, the Bahá’ís of Statesboro and friends gathered at Nancy Hutcheon’s home for an Interfaith Devotional Meeting. We shared prayers and reflective readings on unity, peace, and healing from the holy scriptures of various world religions including the Bahá’í Faith, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Buddhism. According to Bahá’u’lláh, the prophet founder of the Bahá’í Faith, “Truth is one in all religions.” Special thanks are extended to Nancy Hutcheon for hosting the meeting and to Qianting Yao for taking the photos. Also special thanks to Leo the Poet for the extemporaneous sharing of his original rap poetry.

Baha’is and friends socialize after inspirational devotions (Left to Right): Idris Wazeerud-Din, Amanda Middleton, Jennifer Hubbard, Leo the Poet, Dan Rea, Snow Xue Yang, Johnathan Hutto, Laura Deakin, Vafa Gasimov, Jasmine Anderson.
