On February 9, Tuesday, 7:00 pm, the World Unity Jazz Ensemble, featuring Phil Morrison and Keith Williams, played at the Georgia Southern University Performing Arts Center. Click below for more information, videos, and photos from the event.
They performed original material flavored with international elements of Asia, Africa, Brazil, and the blues. Their music is inspired by their travels around the world and their Bahá'í belief in the unity of humanity. Before the performance, the Bahá'ís of Statesboro and friends enjoyed dinner with Phil, Keith, and their accompanying musicians and, after the performance, we took some group pictures.
Below you have twelve video clips, one for each of the songs performed during the set. To see and hear the performance of each song, click on the triangle at the bottom left of each clip. The songs appear in the order in which they were played at the concert. Following the video clips are pictures taken at the event.
