On November 12, 2009, the Bahá'ís of Statesboro and their guests celebrated the "Birth of Baha'u'llah" holy day at the China Super Buffet. Please click below for more information on the event and photos of the celebration.
There were 45 attendees representing diverse cultural backgrounds at the dinner celebration. We extend special thanks to our singers & musicians: Rosa San Juan, Laura Gonzales, Lizbeth Jimenez, Hilda Gonzales, Maria Rea, and Joe & Ana Goldstein. We also extend special thanks to our international dancers: Saida Akbarova performing Uzbekistan dance and Ana & Glory Goldstein performing Peruvian dance. The celebration also featured Dan Rea as MC, Nabil Nasseri showing short videos, and Nancy Hutcheon explaining the significance of the celebration and sharing red roses, which are symbolic of Baha'u'llah's love for humanity.
