Click here for photos. On February 18, Kevin Locke, a Native American Bahá'í, and his nephew visited Georgia Southern University to lecture on Environmental Stewardship in the afternoon and and in the evening to perform the Hoop of Life dance at the Performing Arts Center.
Kevin Locke was invited to the university because he is known throughout the world as a visionary Hoop Dancer, preeminent player of the indigenous Northern Plains flute, traditional storyteller, cultural ambassador, recording artist and educator. The Statesboro Bahá'ís and friends enjoyed the opportunity to see his presentations and to speak with him.
