Georgia Southern University Religious Fair on January 28, 2009

Click here for photos and video of the event.

Below are two pictures of Nancy Hutcheon and Dan Rea at the Bahá'í table during the Religious Fair at Georgia Southern University on January 28, 2009 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. We had the opportunity to talk with 22 students who signed our guest list and showed an interested in knowing more about the Bahá'í Faith in the future. We gave away several Bahá'í buttons and Bahá'í pamphlets.

Also, the Statesboro Herald media made a brief video of the Religious Fair that included 10 different religious groups. The Bahá'ís are shown briefly at the beginning of the video and then again in the second part of the video (beginning at 5:11) that covered the Religious Fair. It is interesting to note that the video segment on the religious fair begins with a close-up view of a Bahá'í handout that displays diverse religious symbols in a circle of unity. Nancy and Dan sensed at this meeting that there is a growing hunger for the Bahá'í message of unity in diversity. In order to see the Statesboro Herald video, please click on the following link:
